District 1 Meeting

District 1 Meeting will be held this coming Thursday, August 1st at 10 AM.

I had the privilege to work with OSU PD and their partners during the last football season and was impressed in how they worked collaboratively to secure and safeguard the 100k Buckeye fans and the 12 visiting Michigan fans at Ohio Stadium.  I'm extending an opportunity to you...Please join me at 10 AM for a behind the scenes tour and short presentation from OSU PD Officer Cassi Shaffer.

We had such a good turn out last month at the CPD SWAT facility learning about special tactics, seeing the firing range and horse arena (pics on Facebook) I hope for a similar turnout this month! Please see the notes I copied directly from Cassi's email. If you need me the morning of the meeting , call me at (614) 774-9379.

From Officer Shaffer... (Note the Meeting/Rally Point)

I wasn’t able to secure free parking, I am sorry. But I got everything else in line, so at least there’s that. Anyone in a police vehicle or cruiser is okay to park (plain car with a official placard).

Let’s meet at the Huntington entrance on the West side. We will take everyone up to the press box, meet and chat, see the command center, press box, I will see if I can get the university suite open (depends on construction), work our way to the field/tunnel, and pictures.
